Outside client work, I build small products, technical experiments, and independent tools to explore native development, AI-assisted workflows, and emerging web technologies. The goal isn't simply to ship software, but to investigate new ideas, refine engineering practices, and push beyond familiar solutions through hands-on experimentation.

The projects below document that process, from initial concept and architecture to implementation, challenges, and lessons learned.

FloorGrid - A minimalist, browser-based grid tool for sketching floor plans instantly. Built with vanilla JavaScript and HTML5 Canvas with no sign-ups or internet required.

Index.ma - An independent free digital archive of Moroccan official price indexes (Barèmes) since 2006. Search historical procurement indexes across BTP, engineering, transport, and services.

InvoiceDesk - A self-hosted billing app for Moroccan auto-entrepreneurs. Automate compliance, track turnover limits, and manage invoices securely on your own server.

Most projects are built with the same principles that guide my client work: simplicity, performance, accessibility, and long-term maintainability. The difference is that the laboratory allows complete freedom to explore technologies, workflows, and ideas without external constraints.
